What is Cool Kids?
Cool Kids is a well-established, evidence-based cognitive-behavioural skills program designed to help children and their caregivers manage anxiety effectively. 
It guides children in understanding their thoughts and feelings, facing fears gradually, and developing coping strategies for anxiety. .
What your child and family will learn
Over the course of the program, children and parents will learn to:
Recognise and label feelings and anxiety responses
Identify thinking patterns that fuel worry
Challenge negative or irrational beliefs
Develop step-by-step plans for facing fears
Increase awareness of bodily cues and emotional states
Build emotional regulation and coping skills
Promote confidence and resilience
Parent involvement is integrated into the program to support the child’s progress, and to reinforce strategies at home.
Program structure & timeline:
10 weekly sessions for children aged 6 to 12 years of age.
Format:
First session with parents to introduce the program and set goals
Subsequent 9 sessions with the children (with occasional parent check-ins)
We’re starting in November at Bella Vista (in-clinic). Spots are limited to ensure quality and individual support.
Investment & Inclusions:
10 weekly sessions — AUD $100 per session plus a workbook & supporting materials: AUD $60 (one-off)
